Project planning
Review another learner’s project constructively
By SI100x · Published
A good review points to an observable issue and explains its effect. It helps the author act without turning a personal preference into a supposed defect.
Try this exercise
- Follow the project’s main task using the supplied practice data. Note the exact point where the behavior is confusing or different from the stated goal.
- Describe the input, observed result and expected result. Separate a reproducible failure from an optional design suggestion and explain the reason for the suggestion.
- Recognize the scope of the project and prioritize changes that unblock the task. Keep private account details out of shared feedback.
Check your result
The author should know which action to take next and why it matters. A review does not need to demand a complete rewrite to be useful; a clear small correction can improve the whole journey.
