Project planning
Publish a practice project with an honest limitations note
By SI100x · Published
Publishing makes a project easier to share, but it does not erase its unfinished parts. A clear limitations note helps visitors understand what they are seeing and how to use it appropriately.
Try this exercise
- Review the public content and remove private data and credentials. Label invented examples, screenshots and classroom work accurately.
- Check the deployed starting page and the main journey. Verify relevant links and error states, and confirm that the version matches the work you intended to share.
- Write a short note describing unavailable integrations, untested environments and planned improvements. Offer a way to report a reproducible problem without asking people to send secrets.
Check your result
The published page should match the claims made about it. A practice project can still demonstrate useful skills while being explicit about its limits and the verification that remains.
