Project planning
Prepare a project demo that shows real behavior
By SI100x · Published
A useful project demo follows a task rather than jumping through disconnected screenshots. Show what works, including a small failure that the interface handles clearly.
Try this exercise
- Choose one user journey and prepare invented data for it. State the project’s purpose and whether it is a classroom exercise or a deployed application.
- Demonstrate the successful path, then show a validation or recovery state. Explain a decision you made and how it affected the user experience.
- End with the current limitations and one next improvement. Keep any recording free of credentials, private records and other people’s personal information.
Check your result
The demo should provide evidence of the behavior you describe. Avoid pretending that a prototype has live customers, verified outcomes or a production integration that was never tested.
